Who’s going to step up?

May 19, 2009

As someone concerned about power consolidating in Washington DC, I’m growing weary of the idealogical discussions.  There’s only so many ways to say that freedom and free markets produce the most good and government intervention while sometimes well-intentions (and sometimes not) usually results in bad, unintended consequences.

These restating of freedom ideas and why they work is good, but I’m becoming concerned that nobody seems to be emerging as that voice of reason that can explain to the masses in ways they can understand.  I’d love to find those people.

Is it JC Watts?  How about Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich or Jeff Sessions?  I’m open for ideas.
